Discovering a wine cellar in a Yugoslav bunker

Šipčanik Bunker of Plantaže Winery is one of the largest and most impressive wine cellars in Europe. It is a 356-meter-long old bunker, secretly built under a mountain. In Yugoslav times, it could host up to 25 military jets and, since 2007, has become the place where two million liters of wine are aged in oak barrels (more…)
